Blade: Made from D2 tool steel, the sub-3 inch saber ground blade is delivered in an eye-catching up swept recurve profile with an aggressive look. Slicing performance and durability are well-balanced with the mid-height saber grind while a nearly full length top swedge enhances piercing performance. Double action automatic operation is fast, smooth and reliable: push the stepped slide up to deploy and back to retract.
Handle: Lightweight and durable, the aluminum handle has sculpted contours for comfort and bi-directional stepped milling on the sides for solid traction in the hand. At just over 4 inches in length, the handle offers plenty of grip area while being compact for EDC. Strategic jimping around the edges helps to prevent slippage while construction is completed with stainless Torx hardware.
Carries via a right hand, tip-down, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.
D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
