ТТХ:
Forend:
Aluminum, designed for ergonomic feel.
Threaded mounting holes at various positions, total of 18, including two on each side for future accessories.
Access hole for action mounting screw, so you can remove the T3 action without removing forend like you have to do on a TRG.
Finish is hard anodize.
"Backbone"/Chassis:
V-bedding system for consistent contact between action and chassis.
Hardened stainless steel recoil lug instead of aluminum ones found on stock T3's.
Designed for 5 or 10 round AICS magazines (with or without front spacer plate).
Trigger Guard/Mag catch:
Similar in shape to TRG trigger guard but made of aluminum instead of Delrin.
Will accept Barnard trigger for T3 as well as factory trigger.
Mag catch is our popular Catch Extender which improves ergonomics and control.
Cheekpiece:
Infinitely adjustable within range (1" travel).
Uses thumbscrew to clamp/loosen.
Cheekpiece must be removed to remove bolt, but this is quick and we have included a simple feature to make the cheekpiece go back to the exact height you set it.
Cheekpiece can be moved forward and backward.
Cheekpiece made of polymer to not transmit heat or cold to your face like aluminum.
Length of Pull:
Adjustable in ¼" increments with nearly 2" of adjustment range.
Uses two cam locks to ensure a solid fit.
Simple spacer system will be available for those who like to set it and forget it.
Buttstock:
CNC milled from billet aluminum.
Entire buttstock can be removed for easy storage or transport.
Entire buttstock assembly can be used on a TRG if you should desire.
Fixed buttstock can be upgraded to folding buttstock with parts kit.
Buttpad:
Moves vertically to any desired position.
Locks in with set screw.
Buttpad is Remington 700 pattern so user can install aftermarket pre-fit pads.
Buttpad can tilt 15 degrees to each side (as if looking directly from the rear down the bore).
Mounting features for slings, monopods, etc:
Buttstock has built in ambidextrous QD sling mount point, and provisions for a second point higher and further toward the rear.
Buttstock includes picatinny rail at the bottom rear to mount a monopod or other device.
Harris bipod stud included on forend.
QD cups can be mounted on any number of positions on sides or bottom of forend.

We have had a lot of interest from our overseas friends. To make it worth the hassle, we have to get a bunch of these sold to overseas users. We will start a pre-order list for foreign sales and when we hit critical mass, KRG will dive into the paperwork quagmire.

Sir,
The 6.5x55 does not fit in the short action AICS magazines, it needs the
magnum length magazines. However, the Whiskey-3 does not fit the magnum
length magazines right now. We are working on that design but it is not
done yet.
Thank you for your interest and let us know if we can help you further!

Хотел бы получить от Вас цену с учетом этих двух моментов - с учетом доставки в Москву....

Well it has been quite awhile since our last newsletter, but that is because we have been working hard!
Here's some updates on our projects:
-The Whiskey-3 Chassis for the Remington 700 has been in testing for a few months now and so far has shown no issues. The long action version will come later this year.
-We have implemented and are continuing to implement some procedures/equipment to be able to make many more stocks than we could previously in a shorter amount of time. Because of this, the fixed W3's will be available around the first part of August instead of right now. However, we should have steady availability after that point.
-The folding stocks, both the TRG and the folding W3, will be available one to a few months after the fixed stock. We tweaked the hinge/latch to give a really solid lockup and a nice simple lock in the folded position. These changes added some time but we had to take the time because we want it to be as near perfect as possible. As of now you can still upgrade a fixed stock to a folding stock.
-The Sako M995 / TRG-S version of the Whiskey-3 is slated to be featured on the HTG silencers catalog. They're shooting the catalog right now.
-Testing on the AICS conversion for the TRG-42 is going well. One point of deliberation is whether to make it compatible with the new AICS 338 CIP length mags, the old standard length 338 and 300WM mags, or both. As it stands you can use both by adding or removing a spacer. Focusing on one mag is simpler of course. We'd like to hear your thoughts if this is a product you are looking to purchase.
-The design is completed for the magnum length W3 for the Tikka T3. This one will use standard length 300WM/338 AICS mags. It should be available late this year if nothing drastic happens.
-After considerable delay, our project T3 in .260 Rem has been completed and is on the way back to us. It was built by Mark Gordon at Short Action Customs: http://shortactioncustoms.com We are extremely excited to see what she can do. We'll be handing it off to Zak Smith to do the test and write-up, which will be featured as a "Gun of the Week" at accurateshooter.com.
-The carbon fiber forend for the W3 looks to be a go. It will be available as an upgrade when purchasing a W3 or for separate purchase. We're not sure when it will be available however. We are looking at around 5-10 oz of weight savings depending on the type of fill we end up choosing.
Total Production list for 2011:
W3 for Rem 700 Short action- fixed and folding
W3 for Tikka T3 short action calibers- fixed and folding
W3 for Badger M2008 short action- folding only
W3 for Sako M995 - folding only
Folding stock for TRG (just back end)
Adding later:
W3 for T3 long action calibers
W3 for Rem 700 long action
