Извините мой лангуаге ис со бад.

And apparently the "translit" button is pretty useless anyway.
I'm looking for full machinist's plans for the Mosin Nagant.
I haven't been able to find it anywhere else, so I'm asking here as a last resort. I might also write to the Tula and Izhmash plants as well. Hell, I might see if I know anyone who lives in Tula or Izhevsk and ask them to just go there in person with a nice camera.
I figured that all of this stuff should be public domain by now anyway, right? I mean it was designed in 1891...

You searched here?
http://7.62x54r.net/ ?
It's useful site with much foto and plants on all models of Mosin Nagant.
I'm actually shocked. Everyone and their mother has machinist's plans for the AK and the PPSh. No one seems to have any love for the Mosin.
Try to download this manual, there were something like plants.

Now I just need to get a translator.
Of course, if anyone finds anything simpler, that's fine with me too.

It will another monster-conversion with Mosin by dark-american-mind?
What were you going to say? More information is always better. I enjoy learning more than anything else.
I'll start with fact that in Russia still exist a lot of fools.
None in Tula or Izhevsk not give any weapon's plans any man. Or they'll give but for much money. because they think that it important for foreign spy yet, in 21 age.
I would recommend to you send request to Remington factory, they did Mosin's rifle long time ago for Russian Empire.
I think that now for them plans ancient rifle not important, as for Russians.
ps: sorry for my english, i study it recently.

And I never thought to ask Remington. That's a great idea, and I should have figured it out earlier. Thanks!
I'll call back tomorrow and see if I can get someone else on the line. Might have better luck. Might not. :P
"That sort of thing would be proprietary and we wouldn't release that".
Apparently 100 years old does not equal free information.
