are these real mosin pu snipers or reproductions?

Thanks for the input Pavlov. i am sure he will, but from what i have read he hasn't seen them yet, and a lot of people are curious to what the history of these are. there are quite a few rumors that these were recently refurbsihed or put together by MOLOT or TULA (see the markings on the receiver of Aim's pictures in the links. Do you or anybody else know anything about that part?

You may want to contact a guy on Gunboards who goes by Feldscher. He is also Russian and he knows a lot about these scopes.

see, there's no real discussion whether the scopes or mounts are real, although there is a bit of doubt about the highly polished mount base by the experienced guys. (shows in the pics that are available right now)

the question is if anybody knows whether these are older or recently refurbished rifles. Are they original refurbished PU snipers, or recently put together from various original and / or reproduction parts?

who knows what MOLOT and TULA are doing with these before they sell them to the USA?

In my opinion, these rifles, PU and mount bases are not a fake. The serie <ГИ> of Izhevsk rifle is on the list:

The serie <ДГ> of Tula rifle is on the list:
Тульские снайперские обр. 1891/30г. - года выпуска, серии, номера, маркировка, прицел

All marks of these rifles and PU look like the original.
During the repair some parts could be replaced (PU, mount bases and so on).
